Hi hi hi hi hi!

Today is Leslie's long awaited enlistment!

Ever since we got that letter stating that he has to go in on 31st Jan, we have been pretty much anticipating it yet hoping that it wouldnt come too soon.

What a contradiction.

But like, that's how everybody will feel right?

Hmmm, his parents, sisters & I were pretty worried about him.

But we all felt that it would do him good and he'll be less dependent on us(:

Main thing is for him to STAY SAFE.

I wouldnt know what to do if anything happens to him.

But i know everything will go just fine, if not awesome!

His sisters were working & studying so only his parents & I went with him.

Went on a tour round Tekong!!^^

I think it bought over his mum & I cause we felt like it was a resort/chalet.

Okay, but like maybe only the facilities/bed/etc are comfy,

the training confirm madnessssssss:(

Everybody telling me the tour IS A SCAM.

Hahahhahaha

On the way there.

Shuttle bus from Pasir Ris to SAF Ferry Terminal then ferry to Tekong.

I find the posters along the walkway very motivational,

but for someone like me who is the physical equivalent of a pig,

i dont think it will help much.

It sure gets repetitive but damn, there's the new Transformers ride!

it is really amazing how it feels so real, like we were on an actual coaster.

The effects are super brilliant!!!!

But i wont beat the Mummy ride that's for sure!

I took it like 5million times alr!!!

Till my boy heads into army.

Honestly it's damn conflicting!!!!
I feel so excited for him & stuff like that, cause he gets to make new friends(hopefully awesome ones) and he gets to learn & grow(im assuming here that this happens to all guys in army so pardon me if im wrong).
++ he is definitely not weak physically so he is pretty hyped out about all the physical stuff.

For me, i'll rather take As for the two years than to do army.
But that's not the point.

(Btw pardon his face, he is alwaysssss so retarded ^^)

So yup, im excited for him.
BUTTTTT on the other hand, i am damn worried!!!
Mentally he'll miss me like krazy konfirm.
& his family of course, plus his freedom/sleep/dota/etc.

8th Jan, today!!!!!!
My mumsie's birthday & she came home at 4am drunk and being super retarded! She kept shouting 'i love you' to me, and whatsapped me loveydovey stuff which i never heard before. I WAS HAPPY, like a lark, till she told me during the car ride to dinner that she remembers nothing. Sigh, such is my life. HAHA still,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMSIE!!

ALSOOOOOOOO, today marks my 16th monthsary with the boy! I know its not exactly very long but it feels as if we have been together for a million years!! Someone come save me from this RUT. HAHAHA kidding! I love this boy more and more each day i cant believe it myself^^ He has been much too sweet that i take him for granted all the time, frowns at self. But he loves me all the same and i couldnt ask for more. He makes me smile when im sad/grouchy/annoyed/every possible angsty mood there is and he never complains! Okay he does but he doesnt actually mind, LOL or does he? UGH.

Hahahaha anyway, Fiona wished us happy 16th & said the sweetest thing ever. She said we complement each other so well its amazing(: I think so too hehehe im such a sucker for loverydovey stuff i think im melting right now. Day #3 of the new year!

Lifestyle hasnt changed one bit though,

im blogging at 1.26am while waiting for my runningman to load.

2011 has been good but i may have been too caught up in my near perfect 2010 to love 2011. Or maybe, too caught up in STUDYING.

2011 has been a year of intense mugging, from early mornings to weeeee hours.

It has been a trying period of time

BUT at least, for me, it wasnt as bad as it was said to be.

Maybe due to the fact that i have super supporting friends whether they are gng through the same shit or not, an understanding(at times) family and a boyfriend who never fails to turn my frowns into smiles, thankful.

Im not trying to sound like a pessimist, but i really am not looking forward to 2012.

Esp with Leslie gng into army, though im pretty sure it will be fine and all cause we get to talk on the phone at night, i think i'll still miss him.

(Btw someone experienced with this whole shit please let me know what they can or cannot do!)

With results coming around March, with >6 months to burn,

i feel like i'll be wasting my year.

It will just be like taking a gap year.

I'll get a job, yes. Hopefully a fulfilling one.

& maybe think about where i wanna go aft i get my results.

I think the real reason i feel like i wont fancy 2012 is because i'll have to make lotsa decisions regarding my future and that i wont have to wear a school uniform anymore >:(

I like being a nerd.

Oh yes, and adult fare.

But my mum's an angel, she giros all my transport fees and she doesnt mind so actually its not that big of a deal. I think i just dont like hearing the 'ti' instead of 'ti ti'.

Hits have also been spiralling down & im still not blogging.

I mean, sure, i've been heading out every other day, doing things i couldnt do before 29th Nov.

I feel like a wastrel(?).

Okay, shant complain! Im able to meet my friends and relatives, hang out with them and chill, talk about everything under the sun, i really shouldnt complain LOL
I'll have my fair share of studying AGAIN when i get my results and hopefully make it into a university.

Being around the same age group, we were always together since young^^

So yup, had a mini celebration on xmas eve!

Then as usual, our impromptu plans!

We decided to countdown together and so we called all our boyfriends and had a merry countdown!

We played retarded card games till 4am, seriously!

We gave ourselves Indian nicknames(Chandrakanesh came in handy), korean nicknames, hokkien nicknames, animal nicknames, all sorts!

Okay actually there was only one smocked tube in there, no prizes for guessing whose it was.

Just nice it was our 15th,
so happy 15th months b!!
The musical was fantabulous srsly!
I enjoyed it so so much, the singing, the acting, the friendship, the love ^^
++ I kept rewatching the vids on Youtube as well!
The best scene has got to be when the 'Defying Gravity' song was about to start!
It was like BAM!
The lighting was in such splendour i couldnt tear my eyes away!
The voice was so strong and powerful it really wow-ed Leslie & I.

HELLO EVERY BARDYYYYY^^

Back in Sg!!!
Miss me much?
It was a mega awesum trip srsly!!
With the tyrannical Charmaine, mad pesky Joy, most meatitarian retard(inside joke) of a brother!
& of course the older generation.
My first time in Kulai, at a relative's house!
The adults have been raving about it, so Charm & I decided to go checkitout!!^^

& I TOTALLY GET WHY THEY ARE MAD ABOUT THAT PLACE.
It is soooooo relaxing!
Minus the fact that the adults are kanchiong spiders and wake up at an unearthly hour of 8.30am.
It is a holiday for a reason!
But oh well, we woke up, did have a good breakfast, splendid lunch & more time to CAMWHORE.
But srsly, the kids(us) had only 3hours of sleep the first night cause we were too busy talking+playing!

Luckily they gave all their kachingz and nobody was harmed.

LOL Weijie couldnt get in, sigh x a million.

Night was fantastic despite all the gibberish that happened!

Luv the whole friend gathering thing, but still sticking to the whole imma angel, everybody plz take care stance. (If that made sense.)

So thankful for Leslie, Colin & Chris who got my back the whole night!

They held me when im a LITTLE unstable, called out to me when im went to the toilet for a mighty long time, blocked guys who are..... yeah.

Met Josh, John & Maylynn as well, been a long time!

Chrysan as well, & she threw my contacts on the ground >:( HAHA

I was dancing with a blind eye supz.

Went to the boyf's crib aft, w Deb + Chris.

& that was like 5++am alrrrrrr.

Deb was the boss, she slept 3hours and kept prancing arnd the house SRSLY.

Wii, Running Man, SNSD, talking, it was just plain chilling without any worries.

(As/Finals IS OVER SUCKAS)

The rest went home & i stayed, dinner with his parents, went back to his place to nua somemore. IM SUCH A BUG.

Gng to Kulai for the weekend with Charmaine, aka the most annoying aunt eva.

Aunt sounds old but she's like a 4years older only(?),

that's the beauty of my family.

FINALLY.
Not much though cause it was pretty much time to relax since a week ago.
MCQ wasnt that bad either, ended the whole As journey with a ribbon on top.
Hopefully next March it wouldnt be too disappointing!
(& on a side note, some people are really ridiculous. It is our decision how we want to go about dealing with our As. Everybody is going through this same ardous journey. Really awesome teacher who has put in so much for us(:
Anyw, he reminded me of things that we had forgotten or neglected while running in this rat race. In the midst of pursuing only good grades, we dont realise we are actually learning some skills.
We might not put these skills to use in future but some things may just be helpful someday.

All we are seeing now is that, OKAY we must study.
Purpose? To get good grades.
For? To make our parents proud, to have a better life, or JUST CAUSE WITHOUT THAT AAA/AA OUR LIVES WOULD BE RUINED.

Hahaha i wouldnt say this will be what EVERYBODY feels but as i see it, the majority?
Then we'll complain about the school, the education system, the everything.
& when we complain, nobody has thought about what if we dont study/are not compelled to study.
I mean, sure, people are complaining because the system is too stressful they say.
I agree, but we can also see it in a way that stress+competition keeps people going,
& isnt making oneself more uhmmmmmm 'advanced' in studies good?

I mean, it will be good if you succeed, the credit is all yours & you have the right to diss. But if you cant and just wanna be somebody that is unhappy with everything that happens around you, im sure you can tell how miserable life will be.

Honestly, i have little knowledge about the Muppets.
In my impression, the Muppets are somewhat like that of Sesame Street.

Would you rather enjoy life & do everything for fun even if there is a risk of losing your life/limbs/something precious? Or would you just stay safe & stay away from such activities?

Heard a few stories, though rare, they still do happen!
Stories like people gng clubbing & the next thing they know, they got poked by a needle & they are HIV+ etc etc.
I know these are what, rare cases, but who knows, it might happen to you!
So why put yourself at risk?

I mean i cant imagine the hours of training they had to put in!

Hmm aunt & I were thinking if IMAX or Gold Class would be better,
& we came to a conclusion that each has their own merits!

For Imax, the pros would be that it is a huge screen
& the 3D effects are so much better than normal theatres!
Sound system wise, bravo too!

But comfort wise, for me, i'll definitely go with Gold Class!
The seats are like awesome max?!
The seats can be tilted + have blanket k!
I rmbed, the time i went i was freezing in Vivo & thank goodness there's a blankey.

Sup guyzzzz, i broke my first resolution of April.
#1 - My life shall only revolve around studying.
Plan failed, the com is switched on *PULLS HAIR.

Well anyway, this CTs has been better than what i expected!
Considering that i flipped through & didnt study as hard as i am supposed to?
I feel superrrrrrrrr lucky & definitely super contented already.
Have to thank my lucky stars that i kinda still have my some knowledge in me?

BCC/B, GP not gotten back yet.
My CSE was the miracle of all miracles,
i've been failing my cse for the J2 year so far.
& i kinda feel that it was crazily different from J1, I STILL DO.
Like i didnt know how to extract points,
i failed by following the 'style' that i did for J1:(

So i was pretty demoralized
& i complained day aft day that the difficulty for this H1 was higher than that of my H2s.
No kiddinggggg:(
Thankfully i passed
& let me bask in happiness please, i even got the highest among the cohort!
Along with another girl i think,
its like a bonus bonus!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was mad happy, texted Claire, & she thought it was an april fool's joke!
Dont blame her for that cause seriously, i myself counted the marks over & over again & like hyperventilated with Corrine.

Had a pretty good weekend with all the preparations & celebrations.

Feeling a little negative about everything in life now. Might be the upcoming 2.4km run i have to do for the next few weeks of my life, just thinking abt it is bringing me to tears. Hate being such a dramamama but im serious. SIGH. Might be the mad studying for the upcoming 7 months which will fly by like nobody's business. I thought i told myself to cherish this chance to study. I know my life is better than all the strong kids out there, & i shld know better to not complain. But life's really unpleasant at times & i hate it. Oh well, chin up & move on right? Complaining wont make a difference, im just tryna get things off my chest. Sigh sigh sigh sigh xinfinity. Suck it up girl.

& i was just thinking about how hard it is to please everybody. It doesnt even make sense. Why do we have to please others, do these people even matter?

I have cockroaches running arnd my house thanks to construction downstairs & god knows what reasons, i cant sleep properly for fear that they end up on my bed.

Caught Red Riding Hood with Leslieeee on Friday,
wanted to catch No Strings Attached
but there's like some force stopping us from watching it,
attempted to catch that a few times & we never fail to miss it in the end.
Thought Red Riding Hood was a horror show & i strongly disagreed to watch it although he wanted to, but i thought wrong!

Yes, that's where NAN HUA HIGH SCHOOL is.
I cant believe im on the verge of tears just by the mere mention of nh on twitter.
#nhtoocool is trending & being retweeted!

Idk who or what started it, but students started tweeting about their school!
At first i thought it was pretty annoying(sorry guys!), but aft seeing all the #nhtoocool tweets, i cant help but feel compelled to retweet them all!
Its so nostalgic & every single memory is so clear!

I rmb our <3412 days where we pushed the whole row of lockers & yanling went in to uncover all the lost items(calculator, curve rulers etc..i still have the video!!), when we get so excited for the sports meet cause the girls were so gna win(I hope you get hit by a 312, a really fast one), when every single one of us changed our pm so we were about the same(mine was 'I hope you get hit by a Charlene, a really bimbo/pretty one' LOL obviously i chose it myself & not that they gave it to me!), staying back for night study which is pretty much actually time for us to hang out at the SCHOOL TOILET bathing & all!
Haha those were the times!!

Yessss, nh has the best toilets EVER.
Its so clean you can actually sit there & chitchat.
Which was basically what we always do to skip lessons LOL punk.
I rmb once Chrysan & I were chosen as victims for the firedrills & we had to disappear.
We hid in the toilets for a good one hour 15mins.

& window panes, LOL.
Some window panes were actually loose,
so we could hit it till it comes out & climb into the classrooms although they were locked!!
Everyone has a FREE locker but we dont actually lock them either!
We unscrew the bolt so we can just open the locker by pulling the lock!!!!
I packed my table ytd & saw the lock, :')

That's just some out of the million things i can tell you about nanhua.
'Welcome back to 41 Clementi Ave 1!', the two plaits in which we were so accustomed to that it doesnt even feel a teeny bit weird to tie it anywhere, the colourful class tees, the disciplinary comm that we always avoid, the shouting across the canteen just to call a friend, the way everybody knows everybody, the school song having a chinese version as well(bet your school only has english!!), the dragonflies mating season where they fly around our blue parade square as if its their pond, the countdown to Os banner & many more!!!!

I guess some of you couldnt fully appreciate what im writing as you werent from NH.
But i can tell you,
That was a good 4 years of my life.

Anyway haiiiiii, been pretty busy w sch & such.
Not touching the computer, only once a week.
So not much time to blog!

Anyway last friday, 4th March, was pretty eventful.
My second time sitting at the back of the hall,
looking at people get results for their As.
Most people only have that one chance to have such a wake up call, but i have TWO.

HAHA basically, if you didnt get it, i get to see two batches get their results & im not one of
them because im kairos!

But it was a bigger wake up call this time round.
I guess it is especially so because the ones getting their results are my close friends.
I see some of them get really good results,
& some not getting their desired results.
I look across the hall & quite a number were crying:(
Its really disheartening!
All i could do was to hug them.
& i know they really studied hard + gave it their all!
Looking at them, it really scares me, cause what if i did my best & all that i got werent good enough?
But whatever it is, im still gna try my best(:
No time should be wasted even thinking about such stuff.

Anyw, photos from a week ago i presume. Us at Singapore Flyer thanks to Mcdonalds(Mac or Mc???) and its monopoly game! One for one was ending so we just went although there was all that opportunity costs incurred yadayada whatever. Im trying to be really annoying now with my tone but i have no idea if it shows in this space, oh well. K I SHALL BE NICE NOW. It was reaaaally fun & i chose some really retarded photos to put up here. There is this newly opened hawker(idk if you could call it that) & its with the whole 1960s theme, pretty interesting! Didnt want to eat there at first but b wanted too & i guess it was really kinda nostalgic. Okay maybe not nostalgic cause im not from the 1960s. It was just a pretty cool concept!

Went up the flyer after that & there was this pretty long passage to the cabin. EXCITINGSXZXZXZ. It felt like we were boarding a plane! Hmmm & spammed photos as if we were the only ones inside \m/ & that hugeass portrait photo of us up there was taken when we were at the top!!! It was pretty fast though:( Could see many places from up there! Went down, to the Helix, then to MBS, & chased after buses.
